Food PopUp -“Rotating Restaurants in the Heart of Downtown”

Are you tired of the same old options for lunch at work?

I work downtown and although we have a tunnel full of options, everything gets old after a while. Not to mention the minutes of your lunch break wasting away in lines and from power walking to the latest spot.

I was so excited when I came across The TOTAL Plaza PoP Up !

My dad first told me about the “rotating restaurants” a couple of weeks ago. But I didn’t truly understand how great the gem was he had stumbled across until he sent me the menu. 

I had the pleasure of trying Jamaican food from Caribbean Cuisine earlier this week! I tried the jerk chicken with rice, cabbage, and plantains. I also indulged in a meat patty on the side. Everything was DELICIOUS! Other than tantalizing my taste buds, the line moved quickly, the portion size was nice ( I saved half and ate the rest for dinner), and the price was right! $6.99 for the 4 cut pieces of chicken and 3 sides – definitely a STEAL.

Naturally, I researched further into the PopUp after seeing this program run like a well oiled machine.

The PopUp is run by a company called Fooda. The company’s website promises a variety of restaurants from neighborhood hot spots to hidden gems that rotate daily. Fooda also commits to providing convenience and respect for time, quality options, reasonable pricing, and healthy options for its customers! Fooda PopUps are currently only available in a handful of cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and Philly to name a few!

The best part about Fooda is that they are open to new proposals and PopUp sites. If you talk to your office or building manager , Fooda could soon be serving up yummy lunch favorites in your lobby too! You can request a proposal here.
