5 Minute PB & J Oatmeal

I don’t know if you know this about me but I love Oatmeal! I especially love my 5 Minute PB & J Oatmeal. And no, we won’t be using the instant stuff. We’re using whole grain rolled oats! I used to cook them on the stove top, the old school way, like my mom did and then it dawned on me that I could achieve the same creaminess and texture in the microwave. My 5 Minute PB & J oatmeal is a great way to start your morning and a healthier spin on your child hood fave.

Toppings

The PB & J in my PB & J oatmeal stands for peanut butter & jam, not jelly. I prefer to use a homemade jam, like my 3-berry jam because its lower in sugar and doesn’t have additives or preservatives but feel free to use whatever brand you like. For the peanut butter, I like to use a creamy all natural PB that’s made with only dry roasted peanuts. You can also switch out the peanut butter for any other type of nut butter you may prefer.
